MDM Repositories hanging

Hi all,

We are using SAP MDM 5.5 on windows platform. ANd every now and then the repositories hang and are not accessible from data manager/Console.

After restarting the MDM Server ( wIndows service ) & reloading the repositories, everything works fine.

I know its a very generic symptoms but can anyone let me know what could be the reasons or how can I approach my investigation.

Hi,

As MDM server connects to different components/servers it takes some time to synchornize the maintained data.

it also depends on which system it connects to, if it connect to SOLUTION MANAGER DIAGNOSTICS(need to be validated in a different way).

Also make sure that proper re-start happen for MDM.
