Data transfer from R/3 to ODS

Added a new infoobject to existing cube which is in Production, While loading data from r/3 to ODS, request fails and the error message is RSDRO_UPDATE_ODS, and syntax error GP_ERR_RSDRO_UPDATE in QA. As such there was no problem in Development(Test load was successful).

There is no problem in transport. Inspite of the problem we manually added infoobject in Production and we see no problem in Production as we could see data for that field (its a compounded object, and we haven't changed anything in transfer rules assigned to source char in update rules). your answers are appreciated and rewarded.

Hello Kunal,

Please check if the table corresponding to the ODS (/BIC/A<ODS Object>40 or /BI0/A<ODS Object>40) is active. If not, run the program RSOD_XPRA_BDS_TO_KW to create the table and load again.

Which version and patch level you are working on? Did you have any upgrade?

how r u ?

This error seems to be in the Update from ODS, so check once again ur update rules for proper mapping, concentrate on the newly enhanced InfoObject.... You are saying u have added that InfoObject only in the InfoCube, what about the ODS ? from where that IO is getting data ? how u r updating that IO, check that as well.
