Here Addressing type is URL Address then where can I find the Service number and Path prefix.

Hey

Please configure a RFC destination of type HTTP in SM59 and then give this in Receiver XI communication channel. You need to use addressing type as HTTP destination, not of type URL .

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/85/78af1bf407434796aaf8dbd6d4e7b7/frameset.htm

Thanks

Hi Aamir,

Thanks for your reply, by using two ways we can configure this, now I am using URL Address instead of HTTP Destination.

Hey

URL addressing is used in case of java proxy, since you have Port and path prefix for receiver Java application

I case of ABAP proxy, you need to use HTTP addressing type.

Thanks

Hey...U can use both a HTTP destination or an URL...but it is a good idea to use a HTTP connection...because that way your connections are centrally maintained... for e.g./.. if ur user Id/pw changes then you dont have to go to every channel and change them ...u can change them only in sm59...

if u are going with the URl...then the details are similar to the ones u use for sm59...

here is the URL format -

http://<SAP system ip>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=receiver

SAP ECC has a small integration engine in it too...

us specify the ID/pw/clnt etc...
