Ukrainian language installation in ECC 5 (Unicode system)

Hi,

I need to install Ukrainian language in ECC 5, this is Unicode system.

I have simulated and activated Ukrainian language in the RSCPINST report. but still in the SMLT the Ukrainian language is not there.............

Any body can suggest how to proceed

Please help asap.

Hi Shanti,

please have a look at SAP note 330104, which lists the available language import files for the different releases (with the exact DVD/CD numbers).

For ECC 5.0 you will find:

UK some particular objects , presupplemented with RU

This means, that some objects are translated to UK, the other objects (majority of language dependent data) are supplemented (filled up) with RU.

You can import this language the same way as all other languages (via SMLT) in a Unicode system. RSCPINST is necessary, but not sufficient in order to support the logon in UK.

Please also have a look at SAP note 517310.

However, as you can find in the SAP note 330104, the full support of the Ukrainian language is available in ECC 6.0 only (without supplementation with RU).
