Yes. That's right, and after changing the host name you have to start the fresh installation.

This is wrong. How did you install Oracle and Oracle Patch. Oracle home is not correct. it should be D:\Oracle\SID\102

Hi Subhash

I re-install the Oracle 10g , the Oracle home Location set default location = E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1

Should I change it ?

>I re-install the Oracle 10g , the Oracle home Location set default location = E:\oracle\product\10.2.0>\db_1

That is wrong. First of all uninstall the Oracle from your system.

1. Install oracle from server.cmd do not use setup.exe

2. Install Oracle patch from setup.exe

When you execute setup.exe welcome screen will come and click on Next. there you have to select the Oracle Home, so just click on browse and it will select the current oracle home that would be D:\oracle\SID\102

then perform the installation.

Hi Subhash

tks

I found the file as \NT\I386\ SAPserver.cmd .I think it is same SAP.cmd , right?

And I would like know I MUST uninstall the Oracle files which installed in D:\oracle\product\10.2.0 before I install SAPserver.cmd.?

Kevin

May be you can take a restart of the system then you can try. But this is the way to remove the Oracle along with the patch.
