Mobile Webdynpro app. development and testing it with Blackberry simulator

Hi All,

We want to try out a demo with the Blackberry simulator (8330) with a sample Webdynpro Java application. We want to know the dependencies (like MDS (Mobile Data System) etc. that may be required to test the application with the simulator)

1) If we use a Blackberry simulator, do we still need the actual MDS (Mobile Data System) or will the Blackberry simulator directly connect to the SAP WAS where the Webdynpro would be running?

2) Also what are the dependencies for using the Blackberry simulator?

Is there any documentation that talks about developing and testing a Webdynpro Java application with a Blackberry simulator.

Hi Veena

Installing BlackBerry Simulator with MDS is sufficient. The browser will connect to the SAP WAS.

Using Blackberry Simulator will do and no need of any onther mobile data stystems.
