Hi,

In the MMC(Windows SAP MMC or SAP MMC for Unix), when you click on processes you will see message server out there as one process.

Right click onto that and go to option developer trace , you will find the port no. of message server.

Else you can also calculate by yourself if you know the instance no. then Message server port is always 36<nn>

Hope this will help .

Thanks.

above error usually related with the network connectivity. Check your firewall rules (if any), network connection, disable antivirus (if any) temporary and then give a go.

Maybe you should know your own systems before trying to install something more ?

Hi,

You need to know the message server port. I believe it can be found in central services instance profile.

On my Java AS server, message server http port is 8101 (81$$ and SCS instance # is 01, thus port = 8101)

Good luck,

Konstantin
