Proxy instead of IDoc?

Can we use Proxy instead of IDoc or not?

Is it true? idoc can handle large volumes of data.

Hi

If you have Standard Idocs available for your scenario, then use those Standard Idocs.

Otherwise go for zidocs or Proxies....both are effective..

Idocs has its inbuilt error monitoring system.

Hi,

As proxies will directly hit the integration engine of XI and performance wise its more effective(adapterless communication)....u can choose proxy as primary option.

U can replace but not bcz of Large message handle , Proxy would be more effective.

But it depends if it is master data transfer u can go for IDOC as u can have track of data and u can resend from WE19 no need triggering

if transactinal data huge data flow then considering performance u can go for Proxies instead of IDOC
