How to delete master data

Hi All,

We are trying to maintain masterdata via BPS web.

The issue I am facing is I have to delete the master data infoobject in process chain and reload the data from transaction cube.

In the process chain I chose the process " complete deletion of data target contents" but here I could not find the option to chose infoobject as the data target.

Please suggest how to delete data from an info object data target and load data.

Hi,

Deleting requests out of an info object data target does not delete the master data itself. So this would not help.

You would have to use infoobject - right click - delete master date. There should be a program or function module to implement in a process chain. However, the master data to be deleted cannot be used in any other infocube or hierarchy, otherwise you won't be able to delete it at all.
