J2EE server not started (exitcode -2)

Hi

I installed (alredy 3 times, 3 weeks of pain and suffering) NWSneakPreviewSP16. I have problem that J2EE server is not started. jcontrol is getting stoped imeddiatelly after starting.

I really can not find the root cause of the issue. Trace log from MMC:

Hi

Before installing, please do remove all instances (DB & J2E) properly. Hope you have administrator access in the system to install, please select a new installation on localhost.

The file C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\services (Windows 2000) or C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\services (Windows XP) must not include an entry for the ports 3601, 3201 and 50000 to 50030. A possible entry can be excluded by using the hash symbol (#).

Hi

This happens ,since bootstrap instance could not get loaded due to insufficient heap size. Check whether the RAM requiremnts suited for SP 15.

If everythng is as per requirements

Login in to the offline config tool

go to cluster-data>Instance_idXXXX node .

Change the Bootstrap Java Settings > MAX heap size (in MB)- to 2 or 3 times of current heap size .

Restart the server.
