ARFC2 on NW 7.10 SP7 ?

I just found a tutorial for NW 7.11 about ARFC2.

Is that available for NW 7.10 SP7 as well? The tutorial again describes only jar libraries, what DCs I have to use if that is available on 7.10? I have to use DCs and SCs (as intended by SAP?).

I have [problems using SAP Enterprise Connector|; (creates deprecated code on NWDS 7.10 SP7 Patch 3) and looking for an alternative.

Hi Frank,

Try FRAMEWORK -> tc/cm/arfc2 and tc/cm/arfc2/api

Hello,

tc/cm/arfc2 is already deprecated, with tc/cm/arfc2/api being the replacement.

With the example I found classes like ARFC2ModelInfo, ARFC2Model, etc are missing in this. Looks like nothing outside web dynpro is working in that release for RFC connections except plain old JCo. And thats definetly not an alternative anymore.

With the back end being an older release I have to check for web services carefully. Not really nice what SAP is doing...
