BBP_VENDOR_GET_DATA_JOB status Cancelled

Hi Gurus,

Need your expert advise on below issue.

We schedule a batch job to be run daily for BBP_VENDOR_GET_DATA_JOB. 3 variants were created for this batch job. We noticed that one of the 3 variants had the status cancelled.

Job started 00 516

Step 001 started (program BBP_VENDOR_GET_DATA_JOB, variant XXX, user ID XYZ) 00 550

Error carrying out job. Execute program directly BBP_BPRM 047

Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE 00 564

Please advise on the possible rootcause of below scenario.

Hi,

If not found any information in SLG1 Log, try to exectute the program manually with varient which is not able to execute , if possible take help of abap guy to debug the issue..

Hi Gurus,

We have found out that if there is no vendor update, status will be set as "Cancelled" thus makes the user confused whether the batch job has errors or not.

Kindly confirm if it is also possible to get the job status as 'Completed' instead of 'Cancelled' when the batch program does not find any vendor to update.

We have checked SLG1 logs but unable to find any error. Can advise any other way?
