workorder (PM) copy to network (PS)

Can I copy work order as network header and work order tasks as a Network activities.

Hi,

There are different kinds of orders in SAP e.g. Production order,Network order,QM order,PM order. There are diffrent cost collectors like cost centers and WBS etc.

Order function is to consume the materail as compontnts with or without completation of operations/ activities. as the order is confirmed, the cost is settled to Order then through settletment it futher goes to next action as applicable.

Hence one order can't be marked to another order but can be marked to cost center or to WBS.

Since the order contains operations and components , you can treat Network order as PM order (virtually) but creation of semifinsh/Finish stock will be by +/- method of component consumtion as applicable.

Hence depends what is required to be achieved !

Hi,

You can not copy Work Order as Network . Instead you can assign WBS element to the PM order.( Addit. data tab on PM order header).

This will allow you to monitor cost of Work Order through projects.

Hi Dear,

It is not possible, both objects are from differnent modules

work order or pm order from pm module

network from ps module
