Hi Gurus,
I am configuring DBA_Cockpit with MS-SQL and windows environment and I have PI, EP and ECC boxes with Solman. I want to configure the DBA Cockpit for Java systems.
Has anybody did that before ? Please guide me how to proceed for that. I want to configure cockpit for only Java systems with solman.
Thanks,
Kamal
Hi, Here's how I have done this for both ABAP, stand-alone Java systems and ABAP+Java systems in SOLMAN EHP1 (Windows Server 2003 / SQL Server 2005 environment).
1) Execute tranasction SOLMAN_SETUP.
2) Go through SOLMAN_SETUP until you get to the DBA Cockpit Configuration Wizard task.
3) Go through this wizard. You will need to supply a database user name and password. This user needs to have Create Schema privileges on the database.
4) If this wizard ends with a SQL Error 208 or 2812 (as mine always did), then do the following.
5) In SolMan DB02, select the database you are trying to setup.
6) Click Create/Repair Schema.
7) Click Execute Scripts.
😎 Go back to SOLMAN_SETUP, and execute the Configure DBA Cockpit step again. All should be green now and you should see your info in SOLMAN DB02.
Hope this works for you too. Cheers, Julie
