Hello,
We have SAP R/3 Enterprise on Windows+Oracle.
We have a probelm of Non Delivery Reports not getting sent to the inbox of the user.
The user says -
____________________________________________________________________
We implemented a SAP application that send emails via Internet.
The batch user that runs the application is BATCH-EDI and its associated mailbox is edi.csg.sap-at-xyz.com
We would like to receive the Non Delivery Reports in this mailbox in case the recipient does not exist any more. But no Non Delivery Reports is sent back in this case to the mailbox.
______________________________________________________________________
I believe from SAP R/3 Enterprise, we do not have Internet Mail gateway.
We have SAPconnect instead.
Could you please tell me how I can configure Non-Delivery Reports to be sent to the mail address.
Thanks.
Hi Gautam,
I presume in this case SAP is just using the SMTP server via SAPConnect to send data but is the SMTP server that ultimately deal with the non-delivered mails, and they should return to the sender inbox if they exist.

Juan

So, how do we configure this settings in SMTP server
You'll have to ask that to your mail admin.
Can we do it through SAPConnect?
Not as far as I'm aware. Anyhow you can probably find more info in the SMTP Guide.
