Hi All,
We have an issue with STD cost estimation for the particular material. We are getting an error "std cost estimation not found for material X",
then we costed the material then we created new sales order- invoice then also the same error is pop ups.
Background:
we run the batch job once in a year for all materials,
we have upgraded the system from 4.60C to ecc 6.0 recently , for the material X,no std cost estimation has not happened in old system (4.6C), i would like to know once the material moments happens and when we try to cost the material in new system, does this affect.
Or do we need to create a new material as old material no longer be used in order have material costed properly.
Regards,
SAN
Hello,
If all the upgrade checks have been correct , like the BOM , the activity prices, the routings for the material , if all of them are the same the material can be costed in the new system and you would get a similar std cost estimate as in the earlier system.
there is no need to create a new material in the system , just be cause of the system upgarde
Hope this helps
Thanks

Have you check your costing run date and your billing date? Your material costing run date must be before your billing date. it would be even better if you can have it cost before you create Sales Order.
Hopes it help!!
