SAP Retail - Distribution Profile

Hi Guys,

Where do you need to go to maintain the distribution profile?

We are having this same problem with a new store created. We are running SAP for Retail. We get this error on MM42 when trying to assign a storage location for the new store.

We get this error while posting: W# 442 : Error determining plant distribution profile for plant

Help is greatly appreciated.

They would not have assigned distribution profile for the new store. You can assign distribution profile in site master-->Purchasing/Distribution tab-->Distribution profile

it is spro logistic genral, merchandise distribution , and distribution profile

sorry what i mentioned above is incorrect i thought site profile

first create in spro->logistic genral>plant masterdata>controldata>site profilehere u can create distribution profile

then wb01 while creating u can assign distribution profile

then go to wb02 check in environment

Distribution Profile must be maintained in Retail:

at the site level WB02 within the Purchasing / Distribution Tab under Distribution profile;

at the article level MM42 within the Log:DC tab under the General Control Parameters

and if you are using Crossdocking, at the vendor level MK02 under Procuremenr Monitoring, flag the indicator for "Relevant for Collective Numbering"
