Initial Upload of Export Letter of Undertaking bond balance

Hello Gurus

We have already gone live onour project a couple of days back. I need to upload the Opening balance of Letter of Undertaking export bond balance ( Closing balance as of 31.04.2009). Can you please tell me the procedure for the same.

Hi

For Exports under LOUT/UT1 there is no need to update the balance as far as i know.

As said just create the bond/lout in J1IBN01 and there select the bond type as LOUT and enter the execution date

Thanks for the reply.

I have a opening balance of Rs 4,00,000o n the letter of undertaking which was the closing balance as on 31st March'2009. The export sales and ARE-1's reflect this balance in transaction made for April'09.

This needs to get reflected in the opening bond balance.

Hi,

I think for LOUT we need not mention the bond value in bond master, please check with client and confirm.

And to create Bond J1IBN01, there you can able to give the starting date as 01.04.2009
