Hi,
Few months ago, we changed this parameter from 6.500.000 to 65.000.000 because we had to throw some large and heavy jobs. Then we haven't changed this parameter, do anybody know what impact can have this hight value in our SAP?.
Beste Regards
Hi,
Thanks for your help, we changed the parameter to the initial value and everything seems ok.
Regards.

If a user logs on to the SAP System, a user context is generated with
one external and one internal session, that is, the roll memory
management allocates a management-shared memory as well as a roll area.
When you create an internal session, the roll area is preallocated up to
the size of ztta/roll_first. If you require a larger roll area, the roll
area is retrieved from the extended memory, up to a maximum of the size
of ztta/roll_extension. For any further requirements, space is requested
from the roll memory up to the upper limit (ztta/roll_area -
ztta/roll_first). This process should prevent temporary memory being
wasted at the beginning, even if it is never actually required. The
ztta/roll_area and ztta/roll_first profile parameters can be set to any
value as long as the following condition is met:
1 <= ztta/roll_first <= ztta/roll_area

Vincent
