Adding transaction code not working in Menu for a role

Hi,

When I try to add a transaction ME29N in the menu for a existing role the profile is getting generated. But when I login to the new User I'm able to access the transaction ME22N but I'm unable to release PO.

I added Transaction ME28 and now the problem has been solved.

Always add transaction code through menu only but not through PFCG .Though menu it will collect all the objects necessary to complete a particular transaction.

you are adding ME29N and you want access to ME22N,this is just because the user doesnt have authorization to it and ME22N requires a different authorization

just type SU53 and you will know what authorization is required

Also make sure that you adjust the role in PFGC after adding the T-Code

Adding a transaction to the menu on PFCG does not guarantee its going to work... you need to maintain all the related Authorization objects before you can use it.

You can do an authorization trace via ST01 and see which objects are been checked.
