Pegarea change issue

Hi,

For some products I have changed from strategy 10 (Make to stock)

to category 40 (Make to Order).

In some cases a new PegArea has been created.

However all the elements still exist on the old pegarea (make to order).

What steps do I need to do to change all the elements to

the make to stock pegarea ?

Hi Tony,

For the change of strategy made, re-create the pegging areas using transaction

/SAPAPO/RRP_NETCH - Display Planning File Entries

Will this delete the old pegging area also ?

Will this force all the new elements to be placed on the make-to-order

pegging area ?

Try report /SAPAPO/DM_PEGKEY_REORG to check and clear out inconsistent pegging areas from system.

Tried that but the peg area remains.

Then you have to take the long way - delete all txn data, associated master data, delete product in APO. Recif product to APO from ECC and then send the txn data. In that case there should be only one correct Peg Area available in APO.
