EP installation and Post Installation Activities

Dear All,

Hi this is Syed.

I am new to EP.

I have to install Java system ,EP,KMC on HP-UX 11.11

I can install Java System and EP.

After this what are the Post Installation for java an EP and how to install License and Patches in EP.

Please Tell the Sequence of Post Installation and what are there and how to do.

i have Installation Guides but it is not there sequence and Procedure for Post Installation.

1.what are post installation ?

2.how to do this ?

if anyone have Document please send

Hi Syed and welcome to SDN,

You have first to complete the post-installation tasks listed for Installation guides for the different NetWeaver Platforms. For Portal and KM there are separarte Post Installation sections in the guide on service.sap.com/instguidesnw04 -> Installation -> Installation Guide - SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0 on WebAS 6.40

Besides specific recommendations in the provided guides, there is no special sequence you have to take care of.
