How to search project version?

Hi,

Our cProject system version is 4.5.

I want to search project with EXTERNAL_ID and version ID and get the detail data with BAPI, but I found that the online help of the BAPI_BUS2172_SEARCH said:

The exception to this is the 'VERSION' parameter. The system ignores this parameter if it is used as a search criterion.

Is there any way to solve this problem?

Hi Liu Qi Wei,

Which search help do you use, I mean the parameter IV_ELEMENTARY_SEARCH_HELP ? Actually the version is e.g. in serach help DPR_PROJECT_TEXT available.
