ODBC DSN issue - getDocumentInformation exception (Error: WIS 10901)

Hi all,

I configured my Universe, with tables and required objects.

Now i am trying to build a query on it using the QaaWS.

the problem is that i get the error of:

getDocumentInformation exception (Error: WIS 10901)

a database error occurred. The database error is: (Microsoft)(ODBC Driver Manager) Data source name not found and no default driver specified)

Here is the setup log of my connection

Microsoft SQL Server ODBC Driver Version 03.85.1117

Data Source Name: Test

Data Source Description:

Server: AA64

Database: MONITORING

Language: (Default)

Translate Character Data: Yes

Log Long Running Queries: No

Log Driver Statistics: No

Use Integrated Security: Yes

Use Regional Settings: No

Prepared Statements Option: Drop temporary procedures on disconnect

Use Failover Server: No

Use ANSI Quoted Identifiers: Yes

Use ANSI Null, Paddings and Warnings: Yes

Data Encryption: No

I am not sure what is the issue, since i already configured the ODBC DSN long time ago.

Could it be since the DSN is a User DSN and not a System DSN?

The problem resided on my specific server

Where did the problem reside on the server? I am hunting for a solution but none working.

the system was XP and when i installed BOE on Win Server, the problem was solved.

i am not sure if this is the reason, but i believe it is.
