Request for Training Approval

Hi,

I have a requirement where, The Employee requests for a Training. Once the request is made, a WF has to be triggered sending a mail to the Supervisor. Once the Superviosr approves, the Booking has to be done and the Employee has to be informed.

Now, I go to PV7I and see option only for BOOKING, not for REQUEST. If I proceed with the BOOK, the System first books the events and then comes to the WF, by then, the booking has already been done.

Please suggest how I can request for a Training?

There is a 'Prebook' option in PV7I.. did you try using that?

Hi,

I believe, Prebook is different concept.

Its booking for a Event which is not yet planned.

Even here, the pre booking happens directly without asking for approval.

Hi Surya,

Did u manage to activate the workflow. There is a setting in IMG where u have to set the flag to 1 to activate workflows.

I see that when i click back on MY BOOKINGS link, the request part is going back to with out workflows.
