Duplicate Checks

Does anybody know if is possible having duplicate checking in <b>CRM 5.0</b> without any external tool? If yes, some basic steps could help me a lot.

It`s very important for me to know if this feature is possible.

Hi,

Is it possible to avoid duplication of BP entry at the data entry stage in CRM 4.0, if yes, can some one detail it out the steps.

yes it is possible in CRM 5.0 but you 'll find nothing in CRM help, the information is in SAP NetWeaver Release 2004s

hi,

you can do the duplicate checks for the target groups (Mktg). it is a new functionality in 5.0.

but for master data de-duplication you need a 3rd party tool.
