CUA - Logical System - Homogeneous System Copy

Hi,

After a homogeneous system copy of our QAS system, the CUA installed on Solution Manager doesn't work properly anymore. This is because the logical system of the QAS changed after the system copy. The client has been changed from 200 to 300.

I'd like to know how to change the client of the users. Do I need to change all the roles from client QAS200 to QAS300 in SU01 transaction? Do I need to change each user individually?

Marco,

Use the transaction BDLS Enter QAS200 in the old logical system name and enter QAS300 in the new logical system name and execute.

this should fix the issue automatically.

Hi Marco,

strange to find this query here....

You know the relevant SAP notes and also the documentation....

so either you prepare your clients/systems before starting the copy, or you 'repair' your systems afterwards. Using BDLS bears some risks as you might know....
