Cross docking process with SD

Hello Experts!

I woukd like to know the impact of the crossdocking process in ERP without WM and only with SD.

Which movemens are made in SD?

How the system responds only with an SD process with sales order -> outbound delivery when we have an cross docking process?

Lina,

Cross docking with out SD provision is also there like in IS Retail.

As u said u have external warehouse management system then the probable workflow will be like

1. Create outbound delivery.

2. Create inbound delivery.

3. Plan with cross-docking monitor.

4. Post goods receipt for inbound delivery.

5. Create an idoc for inbound delivery which will in turn create transfer order in external WM.

6. Confirm transfer order for inbound delivery.

7. Create Idoc for TO in external WM for outbound delivery.

8. Confirm transfer order for outbound delivery.

9. Post goods issue.

How can the system create onbound delivery in this process? How those movements will be associate in the client outbound delivery?
