System status NTUP (Dates are not updated)

Hi Guys,

WBS Element has the system status NTUP (Dates are not updated) the option to untick this is greyed out and it is preventing the posting of a journal.

Could you please let me know how to remove this system status.

Hi,

NTUP (Dates are not updated) will not prevent the posting of a journal.

Please check the system status is Released or nor. Also check for any user status for that WBSE.

To remove NTUP status , you have to schedule the project. Select WBSE>Edit> Dates--> Schedule

WBS is released and there is no user status as well but besides NTUP another system status is there i.e ACPT(Order accepted) is this is causing any problem for genral postings?

Could you please also let me know how status NTUP got activated when i am checking in the change log it is not showing any name.

WBS is very much an account assignment element.

When sales order is created and saved with account assignment to the WBS element under question, status ACPT is set for the WBS. So, mostly this is not creating problem for you. You can check the in status control...

Also check Account assignment operative indicator marked or not.
