In STO configuration

1.Define Shipping Data for Plants u2013here which plant we should give receiving plant or supp plant?

2. Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule-here which plant will give?

3. In availability check wt are the field we should activate?

In the supplying plants details its own sales area

In the Receiving plants details its own sales area + the internal customer no

This assignment will only decide the shipping tab to appear in PO

2. Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule-here which plant will give

Supplying plant (because the Availabilty check has to happen in supplying plant only)

Checking rule shoule be B that is SD delivery

3. In availability check wt are the field we should activate?

In OVZ9 you need to activate the settings for the checking group in MMR + for checking rule B

Thanks Raja,

While creating UB order can we do availabity run in PO or if material is not getting confirming wt we can do for conformation.

while i am creating P.O i am gettimg message NO QTTY getting confirmed

NO QTY getting confirmed

This means the stock is not there in supplying or delivering plant

Availability check happens in ME21N with doc type UB and you will see after entering all the materials and press enter and you will see there is a message running in the status bar that Availability check has been carried out

Hi

in OVZ9 if for the combination of checking rule in MMR and checking rule B that is SD delivery parameters are maintained then availabilty check happens automatically in PO creation during ME21N

You can check this in the PO creation UB type too in the over view screen Top menu bar---environment-availability--if you click these area then you find the AC detail screen opening with scope of check as what you have defined in OVZ9

Hi Friend,

1. You will give the shipping data for Receiving plant

2. In the delivery document assignment you will give the supplying plant

3 For Availability check you have to define

- Checking groups

- Requirement class

- Activate the Availability check control fields for the schedule line category

-- Assign the default status for the sales org + disctribtion channel+division

1.Define Shipping Data for Plants u2013here which plant we should give receiving plant or supp plant? - both. receiving plant will also have the data of customer no (this plant needs to be created as customer as well) and its sales area. delivering plant will be defined here without cust no or sales area.

2. Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule-here which plant will give? - delivering plant, since it will be doing delivery.

3. In availability check wt are the field we should activate? - what kind of avail check with chk rule u want, will be the deciding factor for this.
