This thread is dedicated to publishing new weblogs. Do not append any comments onto this thread! Only if you have written a weblog, then append a small description with the link here.
For everyone else that are interested, press the <b>"Watch this Topic"</b> option at the start of the thread. Next click <b>"Watch Options"</b>, check "Email Updates", and "Update Watches". Then, whenever a new append is made to this thread, SDN will send an email to all watchers. This is effectively a very cheap "heads up" on new (Mobile) related weblogs.
For a complete overview of all Mobile related Weblogs, see: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/weblogs/topic/15
<b>WARNING: Do NOT append anything else on this thread, as any new append will trigger a flood of emails to all three (thousand?) people on the watch list!</b>

Dear All,
Posted a video preview blog of IE Mobile 8, which shows us what to expect from upcoming Windows Mobile 6.1.4 and 6.5 Enterprise devices. Windows Mobile 6.5 is expected to release in 2nd Half of this year. But, there was a recent post on Twitter from Windows Mobile Dev team that Windows Mobile 6.5 is complete meaning we can expect to see it sooner on devices!

Hi,
I'm on design phase of a bigger mobile application.
We have a mental mistake because, we have read in a official sap material that we can´t use Composite Development Scenario (various DC working together) for laptops and we only should use Composite Development Scenario (Only a webdynpro project).
Can anybody help me with this issue?

<a href="https://weblogs.sdn.sap.com/pub/wlg/7724">Call For Presentations Open - ASUG & Sapphire 2008</a>
I blogged about submitting abstracts for the ASUG and Sapphire conference. I'm looking for <u>customer success stories</u> for a round table panel discussion on Mobile Technologies. Selected co-speakers (maximum 3) receive complimentary conference attendance, and if you are participating, SAP Customer Appreciation Points (worth dollars, not just T-Shirts!). If you plan to propose an abstract, please give me [james dot spath at bdk dot com] a heads up so I can assist with your content message.

Hi All,
Just published a blog on how to deploy MI application
without using an MI WebConsole. I can't post SDN weblogs
so I will give you the external links.

Hi MIers,
just a repost of my article into SDN.
<a href="https://weblogs.sdn.sap.com/pub/wlg/4026">MI LAD: Tool for deploying MI app without using MI WebConsole</a>
This article describes a way how to temporarily deploy an MI component WITHOUT the need for a running MI WebConsole. This would enable you to check on your application-under-work on its very first stage of realization - how your UI looks like, if your front controllers events are properly called and so on. Another cool thing is that you can use this tool also to deploy your application on your PDA that doesn't have any
network interface card.
regards
jo
