R47 Delete session 003 after error 023

Hi all,

Some of our users are experiencing disconnections when running a

customized upload program. The details for the SM21 logs are as follows:

R0H Error handling canceled

R47 Delete session 001 after error 023

Q0G Request (type DIA) cannot be processed

I can't find any appropriate SAP note for the error. Please help. Thanks.

Perform IPL on the iSeries server to remove hanged work process and refresh memory buffers.

Hi Francis,

Are the SAP work processes that do this canceled?

What I would do:

Update the PTF's to the required level

Update the SAP kernel

Update the SAPGUI

Then clear the OS system output queues, retry it and look for OS job logs of the broken work processes

Sorry for the late update but I was able to resolved the problem by performing IPL to the machine last week. Thanks for the input and response.
