hi,

>>>I just wanted to know ... which functional area i can pick up

any if you can go for one project with a senior you can learn a lot

and the rest from books, courses, etc.

XI does not narrow anything

Hi,

If you are thinking of becoming functional consultant then you should learn more about business domains.

First have good exposer to ABAP and work on similar project for about six month, SD (sales and distribution) will be easier to start with and you can learn functional along with project. Once you are comfortable then you can attend Courses for more extensive knowledge but there is no subtitute of industry experience.

Hi Sam,

your 3 years experience worked for different Projects, whats the domain of those projects (Manufacturing or SCM or Telecom.....).If you corelate your proj exp with domain and understand the clients bussiness.

I think in market SCM,Retail,Manufacturing good....
