You should REALLY update your kernel. The version you use is several years old and no more supported.

Read Note 803429 - Desupport 6.20 kernel

How did you execute the script?

Hi,

Do we need to apply new license after Homogeneous system copy. My previous server license is still valid. But, the Hardware key is different.

I am getting syntax error pop-up when login into the SAP. I am able to access the transaction when

Syntax error in program : SAPLSMTR_NAVIGATION_MODULES

in include : LSMTR_NAVIGATION_MODULES03

in line : 212

Last changes by : SAP

Author : SAP

"..." is not expected.

Please can anyone guide me in this. Also, Do we need to do any post installation steps after system copy?.

Yes Srinivas,

You will have to apply for a new license

and there are many post installation activities that need to be carried out after system copy

Refer to note 151603,this will tell you all the post installation steps to be carried out

Hi,

The Languages(Chinese,Japanese,Korean) Installed on the source system(Non- Unicode) are not reflecting in the target system(Non- Unicode) after Homogeneous system copy.

Can you please guide whether we have to do Unicode conversion for this /Is their any way for activating the languages. I Executed the report RSCPINST and tried to activate the languages after doing stimulation and copying zcsa/installed_languages =13CDEFIJLMNOPQRSTVZ to the instance profile.

Can you tell us what you mean with "not reflecting"? All the content is in the database so if you copied that, it's definitely there.

...and you did a restart of the instance after you changed that parameter?

What error message do you get? "Not being able" can mean so much...

If you want help, you have to exactly specify what problem you face, not just "it's not working" or "I'm not able to..".

Is this really the name and schema of the DB your connecting to:

Connected to db server : [adapsap47], dbname: DV1, dbuser: dv1

The system seems to connect to the DB engine but can't find the object DV1.dv1.SVERS.

Hi Sven,

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I am connecting to db server: adapsap47 ; dbname: DV1; dbuser : dv1

LOG BZA=> table SVERS does not exist on database

^^ are you sure all import processes (r3load) ended succesfully?

please have a look at all r3load import logs...

somehow SVERS is not found and that points to a possible import failure (meaning not all import processes were succesful)...

Or you can use the Query Analyzer:

use DV1

go

setuser 'dv1'

go

select * from SVERS;

Getting any results?

Sven,

I am getting output as invalid object.when executing the following Query.

use DV1

go

setuser 'dv1'

go

select * from SVERS;

But, when using the following query i am getting it as version : 620

use DV1

go

setuser 'dv1'

go

select * from dv1.SVERS;

Hello,

the login you are using is part of the sysadmin serverrole. For the SAP system you have to remove it from this role. The login <sid> have to member of the bulkadmin, dbcreator and serveradmin role, but NOT of the sysadmin role.

The root cause for the problem is, that when you are member of the sysadmin role, your default schema is dbo and not <sid>. Thats why you can't find the table SVERS (as it is not part of the dbo schema) but the table sid.SVERS.

Best regards
