MDM Repository Password for MDM Business Content?

Hi Experts,

I imported MDM Business_Content (BUSINESS_PARTNER) into Repository...I am trying to connect Repository using user name Admin...But it's giving error message that Error: Invalid password credientials

tell me any one solution for this...

Which version of MDM you are using???

as per my knowledge, up to MDM 5.5 Sp06 password for Admin is blank and for MDM 7.1 default password for repositories for Admin user is "sapmdm".

Try this otherwise you can directly reset password for admin user to blank at data base level in the A2I_CM_USERS table..

Execute this type of command at database

update <Repository Name>_M000.A2I_CM_USERS set PASSWORD='D41D8CD98F00B204E9800998ECF8427E' where USERNAME='Admin';

but don;t forget to do commit after you reset the password..

For SAP CONTENT User is : Admin Password: sapmdm.... It's worked....

I am using SAP MDM 7.1..... Once again ThanQ Very much.

Reset password at database level only as the last option..

Use the username = admin (small case) and blank password.

Hi Sreeramulu,

I have faced this kind of problem earlier.

We asked the Basis guy to reset the password at the database level for the corresponding Repository. It worked.

This is not a Best practice. But there were no problems after that.

Sorry to say that, but why don't you just read our repository notes? All information is part of the notes. Resetting the Admin password to blank is not recommended due to security reasons!
