Not find the 'business_explorer_showcase' role in EP7.0

Hi BW experts

Please i coudn't find the 'business_explorer_showcase' inside the Portal.what happend to this role.it was there in EP6.0 SP15 .

I really appreciate your help

Hi Krishna,

Try a search on bi, as there is now a "bi_showcase" role.

Hi Katie

I fixed this by exported this role and worksets and iviews from my local sneak preview 6.0 SP15 to My Netweaver2004S EP7.0.

and it is working fine.is there any problem i might have in future.

it is under SAPDeliveredContent/PlotForm-addons/Bussiness Inteligence

I am also having this problem, does anyone have a solution? How would installing BI-Java affect Portal content? My hunch is that you need KM installed, can anyone confirm?

Hey @ All,

how did you install the EP? What kind of Usagetype did you select?

To have the BI content installed to the EP you need to install the BI usagetype as well. So in SAPinstaller you have to check the marks properly.

If you have installed only the EP usagetype you are able to reinstall the BI usagetype afterwards. As far as I know you can start the SAPinstaller again and set the right checkmarks.

The BI content (usagetype) needs a WEBAS Java and EP installed.

Hope this explanation helped a little... if so points are very welcome since i am starting from scratch!
