Connect to ES workplace via SAPGui

Hi all,

I'm trying to connect to the SAP ERP 6.0 ES Workplace system via the SAPGui using the information from pages 66 and 67 of the [ES Workplace handbook|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/d91e4d16-0b01-0010-57b5-c4473111136f].

I have copied the exact data from the handbook into my sap logon:

Application server: iwdf1030.dmzwdf.sap.corp

System number: 00

System-ID: HU2

String SAProuter: /H/155.56.56.170/H/

When I try to start the system from the SAPlogon I get the message "partner u2018155.56.56.170:3299u2019 not reached" "WSAEWOULDBLOCK: Resource temporarily unaviable".

received an e-mail from SAP Support ES Workplace:

"...it is no longer planned to use WinGUI or JavaGUI via SAProuter to access the ES Workplace Systems..."
