Trouble in browsing Tags for data server connection with iHistorian 3.1

Hello All,

I am having trouble while browsing tags in Tag Query template for iHistorian 3.1. It does not show any tag names.

My UDS instance is running well. And if I query for the status, I get the ConnectionsInUse = 1 and Connections Available as NA which I think is the reason for not being able to browse any tag name.

Below are the version details.

1. iHistorian - 3.1

2. UDS - 2.5.0.4

3. DataSource is IHISTORIAN3.1

Also I have manually set up the data source name as IHISTORIAN31UDS.DataSource which is running well.

Any help / suggestions are appreciated in advance.

Hi,

You can also browse tags in UDS itself.

If you find tags there, you can get tags easily in Query Templtae.

To get tags do as mentioned below:

Click On configuraion aliases Tab->Right Click on Root->Add Tags--->Mask the tag Name.

There you can see the list of Tags you have masked with that name.Then click OK.

Hi,

Have you installed the IHISTORIAN31UDS_Setup? what about the framework setup?

Did you search for tags in Historian machine?

Can you give the details of the settings you have done in UDS?
