Hello to all,
We have our PRD server with Win2K3 - SQL 2005 and is clustered for HA. All resources are on the first node (DB). All users can login without any problem when resources are on first node (i.e. DB).
Now when we move all the cluster resource from first node (DB) to the second node (CI), users are not able to login and get error - "Logon not possible (error in license check)"
Can someone please guide on this.
Thanks in advance,
Kalpesh.
chk ur sap gui configuration

You need to request two license keys, one for each node.

Hi,
Thanks for reply.
Since it is clustered and all resource are on DB server the - usr directory is on DB too. The saplicense.exe file is at "G:\usr\sap\PRD\SYS\exe\uc\NTI386" location. (G drive is on SAN).
Can i just copy the saplicense file to CI and run the command ?
Also before that i tried to run the "saplicense -show" command from the above mentioned location on the DB server which is active and running, i am getting the below result (error),
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
G:\usr\sap\PRD\SYS\exe\uc\NTI386>saplicense -show
SAPLICENSE (Release 700) ERROR ***
ERROR: Can not set DbSl trace function

Please guide,
