Different clients for different modules APO, BW, R3, XI, CRM and EWM etc.

In net weaver 2004, did we have to use different clients u201Ci.e. for example 010 for APO, 020 for BW, 030 for XI, 040 for R3 etc?u201D Are any recommendations from SAP that we have to use different clients for different modules in the design of a System landscape?

Hi,

DO NOT mix all this different usage types in different clients of the same Netweaver system.

That would be a performance and maintenance nightmare !

I don't either think that it would be supported by SAP...
