CUA UME

Hello Everyone,

I want to sync UME to CUA, so that i can administer portal users from the back end.

with my previous customers we used ldaps and we were able to accomplish it, but here we donot have an LDAP.

my questions are

1) can we sync ume to the cua without an LDAP?

2) If we use Windows server, can we download the active directory ? is it expensive? ->(This could be an infra related question)

Please and thanks

Perhaps what you mean is that you were synchronizing the CUA with the Active Directory (via LDAP) to provide the users and new attributes, which was then replicated to the child systems... and the Java UME instances there were pointing to the ABAP systems as user store.

In this case you can also synchronize your CUA with a bunch of bananas... it should not affect the UME's user store if the ABAP system is used (unless the bananas are longer than 12"

Cheers,
