Hello everyone,
Is it possible to auto-update the purchaseing group field of a shopping cart when it is created from an old shopping cart.
eg:
User1 in purchasing group Pgrp1 created cart1 on May 1, 2009. User1 was moved to purchasing group Pgrp2 on Jun 1, 2009. User1 creates shopping cart cart2 from cart1, but it shows Pgrp1 instead of the users new group pgrp2.
Is it possible to have all new carts created from pgrp1 reflect the new pgrp2 purchasing group?
thanks,
Hi Oney
Purchase group determines via organisation structure.
product group resposibility for those purchase group.
when you click the binacular of purchase group ,you may see who are the purchasers are responsible.

Muthuraman,
Actually my question is if a cart is created with pgrp1 for instance, and a user who is in pgrp2 creates a new cart from the previous one, does the new cart take the value of the initial carts pgrp1 or the users's pgrp2 purchasing group?
thanks,

presume that he is a purchaser user1 on may 1,2009
presume that he is a purchaser user1 on June 1,2009
User1 creates shopping cart cart2 from cart1 - ok
but it shows Pgrp1 instead of the users new group pgrp2.
who is the responsible purchase group for your product category which you are going to procure it? . is it pgrp1 or pgrp2?
are you get list pgrp1 as well as pgrp2 in the basic data? Can you see two in the list 2 purchase grp as well?
