DEFAULT.PFL problem

thr solman need select DEFAULT.PFL when installing.

where can i found it? or install anything before the solman?

any one can help..urgert..

i am installing SM7 , it need choose the profile directory with a default.pfl file in define Parameters part.

But I cannot found the files.

anyone can tell what the problem? should I install another modules before the SM7. eg. SAP ERP 6.0 etc?

<DRIVE>:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\profile on windows

\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\profile on unix/linux

Default.pfl is in that directory.

Sorry I had fresh install that. I found the info like your path from SAP installation gulde;

but I really cannot find the path \usr\.... , even I using search results with windows which still cannot l found the default.pfl file

I would like knows that should I install another modules eg. SAP ERP 6.0 before install the SM 7

The directory is available as soon as your installation of SolMan is done.

You do NOT need to install anything first.

I understand the default.pfl will available if I finished the SM installation. but I really cannot search the default.pft file on the define parameter step.

am I install wrong priority with the module in SM 7.

As I explained in my msg to you, you're running the wrong option.

You want to do a complete install.

Not a java addon only.
