Hi Team.,
We have strange problem. Whenever we change something on screen (e.g adding selection option on screen ) and transport it to the next system (QAS ), changes we have done are not visible. But if we re-generated program system QAS , then changes are visible. This is happeningto screen reletaed programs.
Any hint ?
Best Regards,
Tushar
Hi Tushar,
I agree with debasic...pls check the transport logs to see why the objects where not
generated.
On the other hand...when one installs support packages (ABAP) and a new version of
a program is being imported with the support packages, then at first call of the
program the program is generated/compiled. Do you therefore have a different
system behaviour at a different system ?

Hi,
while transporting a request in STMS
ask ur Basis Team To check the overwrite option ,
then only the changes you have made is visible otherwise though request transport has made successfully then also it is not visible.

Hi Tushar,
Ideally when a transport is imported to next subsequent system, the particular ABAP object gets generated, whereby being activated in the system for all.
Check if the transport completed successfully generated. (log to be found in SE10)
Also keep in mind that, while transport is being imported with DDIC changes user should not be using this objects in the systems in the target system. otherwise it may behave erroneously.
Thanks,
Debasis.
