Hello,
we are currently using the SAP standard document distribution with the Event-Type Linkage for the Document Change (Release of a Document Info Record). Now everything is working fine, so every DIR will be automatically registered in transaction CVi9 for distribution after this DIR has been released.
But now we would also like to automate the distribution in CVI9 via a Batch job, so that no SAP user has to go into this transaction and manually has to start the distribution for every single package in CVI9.
Could you tell me how to start a Batch-Job for the document distribution of the documents in the LOG-Overview of transaction CVI9??
Thanks a lot,
Christian
I hope it is solved with:
Using the report RCDDSSTAR in another context (status MA)

Hi
Create a variant for the CVI9 by scheduling job SM36. Give the variant name and program name and schedule the job as per the requirement. You can also give the event after which this batch job should e triggered.

Hi Keerthika,
the transaction CVI9 is unfortunately just an entry-screen to select the time (from-to) where you want to view the distribution packages. By pressing execute you will get to a next screen where you manually have to mark all distribution packages that should be send out.. There is no possibility to save a variant.
And the program behind is a standard view prog. SAPMSSY0 which also can not be used in SM36.
Thanks and Regards,
Christian
