Transfer stock from Storage Location to Bin

what is the procedure to transfer stock from Storage Location to Bin ( T.Code and Mov.Type)

Hi

Please follow the steps to bring the stock into the bin location.

1) Remove the assignment of plant/storage location/warehouse no

2) Use 562 movement type to remove the stock thru MB1C transaction

3) Reassign the plant / storage location/warehouse combination

4) Upload the stock by using MB1C transaction with 561 movement type

5) Use transaction code LT01 to create the transfer order by using source storage type 998 / bin REPROCESS and system will automatically

search for the destination bin if the configuration and the bin creation is correct

6) Confirm the TO by LT12 transaction ( Hope you have already created the bins for the storage type/section)

Do you want to move the stock physically as well as in system in bin right?

Clent Implemented WMS , now client want to move the existing stock from storage location to Bin

So this would be a conversion of stock.Firstly the bins should be numbered as-is in the system as they are in the warehouse, then the stock should be uploaded into the system by creating a TO.Use LT01 and please look for movement type 999, which must be configured for the movement of stock without hitting any financial accounts.The difference between IM and WM is that, in IM we dont ahve TO"s and WM any movement must be recorded by a TO.

AFTER PRESS ENTER SYSTEM GIVE BELOW ERROR MESSAGE

"CANNOT FIND SOURCE STORAGE BIN"

AFTER THAT IF I ENTERED

STORAGE SEC:

BIN NO:

THEN SYSTEM GIVES ERROR MESSAGE

STORAGE TYPE XXX DOESNOT ALLOW NAGATIVE STOCK FIGURES

EVEN IN STOCK OVER VIEW MATL. IS AVAILABLE

please check the stock in LS24 and you will see exactly where it is sitting and then try, it should hopefully work !

Hi Suman,

1. If your warehouse is assigned with new storage location, then first transfer the material from Old storage location to new storage location using MB1B.

2. Once you done it, system posts your stock into 998 storage type.

3. Then you can transfer using LT01 TCode to your bins.

Please folow below steps

1.Do MB1B with 311 movement type to shift material from old storage location to new storage location(WM managed).this will create quant in 921 & Transfer bin

2.Use transaction LT01 with movement type 999 to shift material to desired bin .For mass data transfer you have to write program which will call LT01 transaction & give input file of materials,plant, qty etc. details.

3.Confirm TO

WM is assigned only with old storage location ( client use only existing storage location )

I m done the procedure as per your valuable suggestion, but instead of pickng storage type 921 , system picked 922 - Posting Change area .. and Mov.type -309

after MB1B (311) ( storage location ST10 to ST10) ,

then LT01 ( matl. on putawat coloumn)

then LT12 after confirmation sytem put matl on Available stock ( LS26 ).. but in T.Code MMBE its remain same qty ( i.e 10 pc total stock, done MB1B (311) for 10 pcs and after LT12 its remain 10 pcs )
