Data Mart Loads

For data mart loads should we avoid loads into a PSA (assuming self system) or is there any reasons that this may be required? Thanks

Hi Niten,

Actually you dont need the PSA in datamarts as the data is already there in the source data target. In case of ODS -> Cube you dont have the option of PSA as the change log table of the ODS acts as the PSA for the cube.

Hey Niten,

Only when you load data from InfoCube to InfoCube using DATA MARTs the PSA option will be available for selection. So its all based on the requirement, in the same way ODS to InfoCube data transfer the options will be available but it will be disabled.

Without any usage SAP might not have enabled and allow user selection only for InfoCube to InfoCube data load.
