hi al,
can we create a material using a storage location that is not assigned to the plant that we have selected initialy.
Ex.
plant storage location
001 1000
001 2000
002 3000
002 4000
material created with following attributes
material---> xyz
plant--> 001
S.Location--> 3000
is this possible???

Hi,
If you try to create a material with improper Plant/SLoc combination, you should get error message 00058.
SAP checks available Plant/SLoc combinations based on table T001L.
Isn't it possible that the material was extended to Plant/SLoc 0001/3000 and later SLoc 3000 was deleted under plant 0001?
Regards,
Csaba
