sapcpe.exe could not be started -Kernel Upgrade 7.00 to 7.01-

Hi!

I would like to upgrade SAP ECC 6.0 system to SAP EHP4.

My OS platform is Windows 32, so I use SAINT

Now I should change the Kernel from 7.00 to 7.01.

By doing so I go to directory E:\usr\sap\GTE\SYS\exe\nuc\NTI386 and change the kernel (SAPEXE, SAPDB, TP and R3Trans)

When I try to start my system the sapcpe.exe will be red

Do I need to change some additional binaries/DLL?

Hi,

you have to follow the instructions of the Note 684106 (install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1)
