Low Performance

Hi,

Problem is when i import a customizing request in QLT it takes to much time to update the request

customizing contained in the request.

I saw that there r too much swaps created of Import/export buffer.

Can it may be the problem.

Plz tell the Cause and also the solution for same.

Hi,

You should continuolsy monitor the import/export buffer with transaction ST02 and, if necessary, increase the profile parameters.

The following profile parameters are relevant to the export/import buffer: rsdb/obj/buffersize & rsdb/obj/max_objects

If, in transaction ST02,free directory for the export/import buffer is very small or 0, rsdb/obj/max_objects must be increased. If free space displays very small values, the parameter rsdb/obj/buffersize is set too small and must be increased.

you would have to increase the size of import/export buffers to reduce the number of swaps in the system

Its not a problem. Buffer overflow happens when you do transport. even it effects system performance.
